THE GLOBAL WOUND CAUSED BY COVID-19
The World will Never be the Same Again

There are not only one or two conspiracy theories that are floating around in cyber-space concerning the COVID-19 pandemic. There are literally hundreds of theories. Each conspiracy is based upon the direction from which a person is viewing the pandemic. It is a fact that mankind rarely sees things as they really are. Rather, he sees things according to who, and how he is. One person can see a dog running towards him/her, and because this person has had a positive experience with dogs that person will crouch down and welcome the inquisitive canine. Another person, due to bad experiences with dogs will either run or go on the defensive. It all depends upon the ground that you are standing on, the ground that is based on the experiences of your life. We have all been molded, fashioned, and have had our minds set through life’s experiences. It is through the lens of these experiences that we view everything. Hence, we do not see things as they really are. Instead, we see things as we are.
It is still not clear as to where the COVID-19 virus originally began infecting the public. Some say that it began in a live-animal market in Wuhan, China, while others say that it escaped from a botched-up lab test in the same city. Yet, others say that it came from a military facility in the USA whilst working in conjunction with the lab in China. There are countless other theories, impossible to name, due to the enormity of the speculation on this subject. Do we really know which is true?
Laying the origins of the virus aside, there is one thing that can be agreed upon, and that is that the spread of the coronavirus has caused a major disruption in the lives of the global population. It has killed hundreds of thousands of people both young and old. It has wreaked havoc on global economies. It has tested health care systems to the max. It has taken people’s livelihood away, whilst shutting down businesses that will never see the light of day again. Particularly in countries with larger populations, the coronavirus has begun to change the culture and social behavior of society. This list could become rather lengthy and more detailed. With all of that having been said, the point that I am making is that the realization of the spread of COVID-19 has left a deep and bloody wound on the global body. This wound may never heal. In contrast, if it does heal then the ugly scar that is left will bring about a serious change in the appearance of the world at large and the way that the world will function from here on out.
The wound that has been inflicted upon global society has become a breeding ground for a sinister plot of governing powers. World governments and leaders have used, and are yet to use, this festering wound as fertile ground to plant the seeds of the New World Order (NWO) that is soon to be unleashed upon the earth. During the first five months of 2020, many new actors, so to speak, have entered the stage all while taking part in the dress rehearsal of the final act in the end-times. The curtains on the stage of this play have been set for the final act and are still drawn. However, behind the curtains, preparations are being made both in secret and in plain sight for massive and major changes that will be adopted in every country on the face of the earth. Once the stage is set and the rehearsal is perfected, then the curtain will open and the featured actor in the final play will appear – the Antichrist.
The coronavirus is not the end of the world, as some have predicted. It will not herald in the coming of Jesus. It is not the great wake-up call of the Church (even though God has and will yet use this to wake up many who are spiritually asleep). It is not the tribulation, even though I do believe that it is part of the global events that have heralded in the time of the beginning of sorrows.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
These verses in scripture show us a very detailed description of the condition on present day planet Earth. We see spiritual deception, false anointed ones, wars, rumors of wars, the rising up of one against the other, kingdoms in face off against kingdoms, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes. Many, if not all of the aforementioned signs, are signs that were mentioned by Jesus as signs of the end-times. Many of these have been present and have been experienced throughout history. However, never in history have all of these signs been present in the same day and subsequently in the same season. There is no question that the stage is being set for the final days in time, even as I write this article. The curtain will open soon.
The governments and leaders of the world are using the wound that has been inflicted on society by the coronavirus as a platform to enforce an agenda which is sinister in nature. Not only is the world edging toward a one world governing power, but we are also seeing the beginning of governmental control of the total global population.
1. CONTROL OF THE MASESS – The Loss of Civil Liberties
The coronavirus pandemic has been used as a rehearsal and as a way to discover a means for bringing populated areas under absolute control. The main weapon that is being used in gaining this level of control is fear. A fear tactic was used during the early stages of the pandemic to cause people to comply with local, state, and federal governmental regulations. As days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, the population became restless. At that point, certain factions of society began to rebel and rise up against governing powers. As a result, this behavior has been viewed by governing powers to be weak links in the chain. These weak links that have been identified are all considered to be areas that need to be controlled by new government legislation so as to prevent such upheavals during future crisis. We can expect to see new and stricter laws adopted by city, state, and federal government.
The behavior of the inhabitants of towns, cities, states, and countries is being monitored and documented in minute detail by governing powers. Anything that is viewed as a potential threat to governmental control has been documented so as to prevent “weak links” from breaking the chain in the future. In other words, civil liberties as we have known them in the past are going to become a thing of the past after COVID-19. This is going to impact the Church in a major way as religious freedom is under attack.
To be able to ensure absolute control over the population, electronic surveillance will become the norm. The powers that govern will have the technological ability to observe what every citizen is doing, what everyone is saying, and where each person is going, including with whom they have had contact. At present, those who have contracted the virus have had to inform authorities of who they have been in contact with and where. Through this, it has become increasingly needful for governments to be able to track down individuals and know their whereabouts. This has caused a surge and an urgency in the development of technology that will be able to monitor all citizens, all of the time, and in any place. Your private life will no longer be private, not even the space within your own home.
2. PERSECUTION OF THE CHURCH – Losing Freedom of Worship
Pastors and churches have stood up against local and state governments and are defying orders. They are instead, opening their churches for services during the coronavirus pandemic. It is debatable as to whether some of these actions were wise during the height of the pandemic. But be that as it may, a can of worms has been opened, never to be closed again. The defiance of churches against governing authorities has sparked the debate among officials on how to bring religious freedoms under control.
In the coming months and years, the USA, and the world at large, is going to witness a crackdown on religious liberties. Already in Houston, TX, a specific group of pastors have been subpoenaed by city officials to hand over their sermons for censorship if said sermon contradicted, in any way, the so called “bathroom bill”. This bill allows either gender to use whichever bathroom they wish, based on their preferred gender identification. If pastors do not comply with the subpoena that has been given by city authorities, then a hefty fine will be the penalty and in some instances possible jail time. The law will no longer protect the right for people to believe according to their convictions. Rather, the law will use force to cause the Church, and the general population to accept and adopt the liberal agenda.
Stories like this are popping up all over the nation. The Church is considered an enemy of progressive thought and liberalism and must, therefore, be “brought under control”. The immoral, ungodly, and lawless liberal agenda is going to rise in this nation. This agenda is anti-God in every aspect. It is infused by the antichrist spirit which is becoming increasingly dominant in society and in politics. This agenda focuses on humanism, which is nothing other than an ideology that replaces God with man. In the Liberal’s view, man is God. We all know where that lie comes from (Genesis 3:5, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Jude 1:16-18, 2 Timothy 3:1-4).
The United Nations just issued new guidelines on acceptable and unacceptable words to be used when referring to people and their preferred gender. According to the report, this has been adopted to ensure happiness and acceptance in a more “equal world”, as they call it. Such guidelines will eventually become law and be enforced.
3. CHANGE IN FINANCES AND BANKING – Inability To Buy or Sell
The technology for creating a cashless society has been in the making for some years. The coronavirus pandemic is now being used as grounds to introduce this new system of financial transaction to the public. Fear tactics are being used on the public by informing them that cash carries the virus and is therefore a risk to public health. In the near future, cash will no longer be accepted as a means of payment. All financial transactions will be electronic. If you are not electronically registered with a bank, then you will not be able to buy or sell. This is being done in preparation for the Antichrist’s control of the world’s financial markets.
Revelation 13:16-17
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
This process is inevitable. The coronavirus has simply caused a massive acceleration in the process, and for most of us this will become a reality in our lifetime.
4. SOCIAL PLATFORMS – The Freedom To Speak Truth
The coronavirus has caused the major social platforms such as FaceBook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram to monitor, censor and remove any content that they deem as inappropriate to the promotion of the liberal political agenda. It won’t be long before churches will no longer be able to use these platforms to proclaim Truth! Truth and error have never mixed.
As we draw closer to the coming of the Lord (and to the coming of the Antichrist), the divide between Truth and error will increase. This is going to cause a major conflict within these social platforms. The battle between the two opposites will grow stronger and more open in the public arena. The Truth of God’s Holy Word will come under attack more than ever before in human history.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-11
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
In these last days, the lie will seem to have won. But the power of the lie will eventually be defeated by the second coming of Jesus. Truth always wins!
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (2 Thessalonians 2:8)
For certain, nothing will ever be the same again! Society has been inflicted with a nasty wound. The effect of this festering wound on the world is yet to be fully realized. Make no mistake about it, we are facing the end-times. The beginning of sorrows is upon us. It behooves every believer to climb on the watch tower and remain alert and awake as the prophesied events of the end-times unfold right before our eyes.
The governments and the rulers of this world will become more and more overtaken by the anti-God spirits that war against the LORD God. Their final agenda is to prepare the Earth for the coming of a one world leader. One of the ways that this will be accomplished, is by the breaking of all covenants with God and the rejecting of His authority as the Supreme ruler of mankind.
Psalm 2:2-3
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
